The Club Today

Tonbridge Model Railway club today consists of around 35 members from the local area who meet each Thursday to practice their hobby.

Whilst some club members prefer to watch 'Ready to run' models circulate on the test track, others will spend time working on the club layouts. On some occasions, members will bring their own layout in to run or work on.

This is what club nights are spent doing, or catching up on the latest information from friends, although at some points in the year there will be special club nights with film or slide shows, and the Christmas social evening with a modelling and photographic competition.

If you are looking to meet a bunch of like minded, friendly people, why not come down one Thursday night to the scout hut in Lamberts Yard from 7.30.

The club has been featured in the 'Hornby' magazine, January 2009 edition, in which further information about the club can be obtained.
