Tonbridge is twinned with Heusenstamm in Germany. Likewise, we in TMRC have forged close links with their local model railway club; HEB Hobbyeisenbahner 1983 E V. In the last few years we have visited each other many times. This has included exhibiting club member, Tony Mortlock’s 00-9 layout ‘Iden Lock’ at the annual HEB show. In return they have bought part of their N-gauge modular layout for our show in 2005.
This layout has over 50 modules! And can be arranged in variety of ways. That displayed at our exhibtiton created a great deal of interest among the visitors to the show.
